Lisbon with pure love
This was another magical day for me! I had the great honor to spend another day with my dear friends Federica (@fedeactive) and Luca (@lvrluca) and their 2and 1/2 months baby Sofia – the sweetest baby I ever have seen. I’ve never listened to her crying during this 2 days together in Lisbon – she is just amazing.?
We enjoyed spend some time first in a coffee shop called Fabrica coffee roaster and later in an old barbershop in the city center called barbearia Campos: Luca’s satisfied expression explains it all!!
After this moment of pure joy with the chocolate mousse, we took a bus directly to Lisbon oriente to attend the opening ceremony of the Web Summit 2018! I really appreciate the speech of Sir Tim Berners-Lee (the man who changed the word inventing the World Wide Web!) that called on us to stand up and fight for the web we want and reminded us the hashtag of his association #fortheweb. We are at the 50/50 moment: half world population is connected to www – and the real question now that being connected has become a basic right for many “How can we extend this right to the other half of world humanity?”.
We found a great new restaurant called Lisboa E Linda and we ate a spectacular octopus and the famous bacalhau, we definitely couldn’t have ended this fantastic day better.
This is what I call a fulfilling life: laughing with friends, eating good food and drinking fantastic Portuguese red wine, taking photos of new places and smelling an always smiling newborn baby!
I can’t wait to enjoy tomorrow the first day of #websummit2018 and meet my dear friend Alessia (@alessiacamera) coming from London?.
