Today I woke up early and happy because I couldn’t wait to see little Sofia and have breakfast “with” her meanwhile her mummy Fede breastfeeds her!!
I went with my friends at the first day of Web Summit and I walked through Alfa and beta startup stands and I attended some interesting speeches both @ pandaconf and @ startup university. This is THE slide I prefer
But what I really appreciated was the lovely and caring team of Booking.com for all the espresso they let me grab and the glasses of wine ? they offered me in their #womenintech lounge (pavillon4). Sofia – the youngest #websummit2018 attendee? by the way – slept 3 hours there, probably feeling the strength of women community #strenghtindiversity ??
Sofia and her super mum Fede (@fedeactive) make me think that we have #Noexcuses and no limits girls, because #werule ?
I also had the opportunity to meet two great Italian girls living in London:
- Sonia, blogger of “nel paese delle stoviglie” and a member of #socialgnock community on Facebook (we chatted many times when I lived in London but we never meet – that’s The problem of that metropolis!!!)
- and my dear friend Alessia Camera, the writer of Startup marketing!
The best gadget today was for sure the thermos flask of Mirpuri Foundation- I’m amazed by their communication strategy and mission … follow #TurnTheTideOnPlastic
How not to mention our dinner at our favorite restaurant in Lisbon (exactly 1 year later): Santelmo restaurante. The perfect octopus ? with sweet potatoes and the crispy pork cheeks stuffed for more than 4 hours were far beyond our aspettative – just awesome ?
So dear friends, we have to remember to count our blessings – not our troubles… and I can affirm I really filled my day with peace, courage, health and hope. Thanks (yes, I like to say and remind me to write down the word THANKS to training myself to be grateful everyday!!).
Let’s have beautiful dreams … cheers!!
